ORDERS:
All orders are produced just for you. Since everything listed on this site is made to order, please note that full orders have lead times as listed below. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, including samples. Once payment is received, orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, reduced or returned.
STANDARD WALLPAPER:
All standard wallpaper is pre-pasted with water activated adhesive. FSC Certified. Eco-friendly. 10-30% post consumer waste. PVC, VOC and vinyl free. Class A fire rated. Removable if installed without the use of additional paste. Pre-trimmed. Suitable for residential and low traffic commercial use. Printed in the US.
Standard wallpaper samples (8"x8") are stocked and will ship out within 3-5 business days of placing your order. If any samples in your order are backordered, you will receive a notification. 2'x2' Large Samples are not typically stocked and have a lead time of 3-4 weeks. Full wallpaper orders have a 3-4 week lead time for production.
Standard wallpaper is sold by the double roll, in sets of 2 cut single rolls. Three roll lengths are available- 10', 12' and 15'. Should you need custom lengths longer than 15', we can accommodate your needs up to 30' in length. Please email lindsay@lindsaycowles.com to inquire about custom roll lengths.
We do not offer CFAs for approval. We can however do reverse CFAs. If you would like to do a reverse CFA, please email info@lindsaycowles.com.

GRASSCLOTH:
Sisal grasscloth is hand loomed by skilled artisans on non-mechanized looms. VOC free. Paper backed. Colored with water-based vegetable dyes. ASTM-E84 Class A fire rated. Suitable for residential and commercial applications. Printed in the US.
Untrimmed. 8 yard minimum. Sold by the full yard on continuous bolts up to 45 yards in length.
Standard lead time is 4-6 weeks.

ALTA NON-WOVEN WALLCOVERINGS:
Non-woven vellum paper. Lightly textured surface, similar to watercolor paper. Matte finish. ASTM-E84 Class A fire rated. Suitable for residential and low traffic commercial use. Made from sustainable and renewable resources. Complies with REACH requirements. Printed in the US.
Untrimmed. Sold by the full yard. 8 yard minimum. Packaged in a continuous bolt up to 45 yards in length.

ECO-FRIENDLY TYPE II WALLCOVERINGS:
For high traffic commercial areas or high moisture environments please inquire about Type II by emailing lindsay@lindsaycowles.com. All patterns available in Type II. Lead time is 3-4 weeks depending on the size of the job. PVC free, eco-friendly, Type II wallcovering. LEED Credits. REACH compliant. Matte finish. Printed in the US. Class A Fire Rated. ASTM F793.
Matte finish. Type II panels are 48” wide. Available lengths are 10’, 12’ or 15’.
All type II wallcoverings pre-trimmed. Sold as single rolls. Packaged on one bolt as cut panels.

FABRIC:
Most wallpaper patterns are available in fabrics, although they may not be all be stocked in sample size. We try to have every pattern sampled, but please note that all patterns are not sampled or stocked in sample size in all grounds. If samples are requested but not stocked, 1/4 yard large samples can be ordered for approval via our website.
Available grounds: Belgian Linen, Belgian Linen Cotton and Velvet. Please feel free to ask about other grounds not listed here.
Minimum order of 3 yards per pattern, per ground. Fabric must be ordered by the full yard. We do not offer CFAs for approval. We can however do reverse CFAs.

Reverse CFAs for color matching help to ensure that your dye lot is as close as it possibly can be to the sample that you have in hand. We need at least 1/3 of your sample with as many colors as possible to match your color to the best of our ability. Note that our fabrics are made from natural fibers and so ground color can vary from bolt to bolt and lot to lot. Ground color impacts color matching, as do many other factors. We strive to achieve 100% color match, but please note that 100% match is not achievable in all instances. Every run is considered a new dye lot and may have slight variation from your sample.

Custom colors available. Please inquire for custom colors and fees.
3 yard minimum per pattern and per ground. Please choose 3 yard minimum and then additional yard to add to the quantity. 1-2 yards orders will not be accepted.
Industry standards state that 3% should be allowed for shrinkage.
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS:
Original paintings listed on the site are stocked and will ship out within 10 business days of placing your order, unless framing is requested. Please visit our other website for all paintings. www.lindsaycowles.com
PILLOW COVERS:
Pillow covers have a lead time of 4-7 weeks. They can be custom made just for you in different patterns or color ways. Minimum of 2 pillow covers per pattern to order.
They are sold without pillow inserts. We suggest ordering inserts that are 2" larger than the size pillow cover that you order.
Extra long lumbar pillows are sold with inserts.
RUGS:
All of our rugs are hand made in India and Nepal. 100 knots per square inch. Hand knotted. Available in Wool/Silk, Silk, 100% Wool.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, please note that we allow +/- 5% color variation and +/- 3% size after washing.
For custom colors and custom patterns, strike offs will ship 4-6 weeks after orders are placed. 50% non-refundable deposit due to launch a custom strike off. Once strike offs are approved, they must be signed on the back and returned to our office. Lead time is 12-18 weeks once strike off is approved and balance payment is received.
Rugs larger than 10' wide need a palate to ship. Additional shipping charges will apply to rugs larger than 10' wide. If you would like a quote, please email us lindsay@lindsaycowles.com.
DYE LOTS:
Dye lots of our wallcoverings and textiles may vary slightly due to the fluctuations in the digital printing process, as well as the natural fibers of our grounds. Please make sure that you place your full order plus overage so that you have enough material for your project in the same dye lot.
We do accept cuttings of our fabrics to do a reverse color match when you are ready to order your full yardage and/or rolls. If you would like to submit a cutting along with your order, please contact us. We will do our best to match your sample as best we can. Since we print on many natural fibers, note that the ground color may shift from lot to lot. This ground shift affects color matching, along with many other factors during the print process. We always aim to match as closely as possible, but note that each run will be its own dye lot and may not be a 100% match.
If a small sample of your desired fabric ground is not available, we highly suggest to order a large sample to verify dye lot on ground of your choice.
Due to varying printing systems, ink and substrates, wallpapers and fabrics in the same pattern and color way are not always an exact match in color and scale. If you would like to match a wallpaper and a fabric, please contact info@lindsaycowles.com to request custom match.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
Custom repeats and colors are available for wallpapers, fabrics and pillows. Custom orders are subject to custom up charges. Strike off (sample) fees apply. For more information, please email info@lindsaycowles.com.
SHIPPING:
All orders are shipped ground. If you would like to expedite your shipment or ship internationally, please email info@lindsaycowles.com for a quote. We are happy to accommodate your shipping needs.
RUSH PRODUCTION:
Rush production is available for standard wallpaper, type II, alta non-woven, grasscloth and fabric. Rush lead times and pricing varies per ground. Estimated rush lead time is 2 weeks for production plus time in transit. Minimum is $425.
WALLPAPER INSTALLATION:
To receive installation instructions for any of our papers, please email info@lindsaycowles.com.
RETURNS:
All sales are final. Orders are not subject to cancellation.
No returns accepted- which includes wallpaper, fabric, pillow covers, rugs, giclees, original paintings, trays, samples and any other products listed on our site. Samples of wallpapers, fabrics and prints available to order to test colors and materials in your space before placing your full order. Once payment is received, orders cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded.
Commissioned originals, custom giclees, and all custom orders are final sale.
It is the client's responsibility to inspect their order upon arrival. If there is an issue with your order, please email info@lindsaycowles.com within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can review your claim.
Any claims received after the 7 day time frame will not be accepted. Goods that have been cut, treated, altered, processed, subject to abuse or misuse, damaged after shipment and/or installed materials cannot be replaced.
No labor claims will be honored for any reason.

Trade accounts are available to interior designers. In order to set up your trade account, please fill out the trade application here.
Due to the high volume of sample requests, please note that the first 5 samples are free with your welcome packet. After that, samples can be purchased on our website..
